Making Memories Christian Child Care Center provides a quality educational program in a Christian environment. We strive to enrich the social, physical, cognitive, emotional, and educational growth of the individual child. This is facilitated in a safe, healthy, Christian environment through cooperation of parents and staff. A Christian environment is reinforced through curriculum, stories, music, art, and prayer. We strive to nurture your child in a faith-based and loving atmosphere and to guide them in developing Christian morals by example and instruction.
We believe parents are the most significant adults in a child’s life. Our doors are open to parents at all times. The center publishes and distributes a monthly newsletter that serves as a link between the center and parents. It highlights the center’s activities, staff news, upcoming events, and reminders. Additionally, each classroom sends home a newsletter to inform parents of lesson topics, birthdays, special reminders and activities.
June 2nd – Splash Days begin
June 17th – Doughnuts with Dad
July 4th – Center closed
July 15th – PreK Graduation
Starting June 2nd, we will have SPLASH DAYS on Fridays during this month. Children need to come already dressed in their swimsuits underneath their clothes in the morning. Also, they should already have sunscreen applied. Children’s underwear and towels need to be brought in with them. Please remember to label your child’s belongings. Due to the heat, we will be starting this very shortly after breakfast. If your child doesn’t arrive until 9:00 a.m., they will probably miss it.
Come join us for a hot breakfast (doughnuts, too!) on Saturday, June 17th from 8:30-9:30 a.m. There will be door prizes, art activities for the kids, and opportunities for a mini massage. Grandpas are welcome too.

We finally received our scores from our annual assessment that was conducted in February. This year the Fours and Twos classrooms were randomly selected, and once again our staff did a DYNAMITE job!
This was our 12th time to be evaluated and we received our highest score yet. Our total score was 6.20 out of 7.0
In addition to classroom observation assessments, centers are scored on the following:
Our center earned 3 out of 3 STARS in each of these categories. Due to this and our excellent assessment score we meet the State’s ”highest standards” for childcare providers.
Unlike numerous childcare centers, we do not receive any money from the State for earning these scores. Our motivation is to provide high quality care for your child because it’s the right thing to do!
